Houdini: Letter to Laurence Rees (June 24, 2000)
|
June 22, 2000Letter from Laurence Rees, Head of the BBC History Programmes Unit, to Michael Roll In his letter, Laurence Rees writes: "On your first point about Houdini's wife; it's clear from the broadcast we transmitted that Mrs Houdini maintained into the 1930s that no contact from her husband had been received, which seems to contradict the evidence you quote. However, I've asked our versioning producer, Carol Sennett, to look into it and if she can shed any light on this I'm sure she'll be in touch."
