Religion: the great hoax on the human race

To all fellow atheists reading the Freethinker

Can you imagine our hero Professor Richard Dawkins actually going to see such a pathetic figure as the Pope? It would be just as daft as going to see the head of the Flat Earth Society.

Well Professor Stephen Hawking did!

Professor Stephen Hawking worships in an Anglo-Catholic Church. Only a person who is dabbling in priestcraft would be stupid enough to go and see the leader of the greatest killing machine and suppressors of knowledge the world has ever witnessed.

When Hawking returned from this meeting he told the press what the Pope said to him:

"I don't care what you do in science just as long as you never encrouch on my subject - life after death."

Every leader of the whole grisly religious shooting-match knows they are done for immediately people throughout the world do the same thing as Professor B.D. Josephson, a Nobel Laureate for physics from Cambridge University, link the subject of survival after death with the scientific discipline of subatomic physics - the study of the invisible part of the universe.

The priests, mullahs, rabbis, ministers of religion and "holy" men will all be laughed off the park as they say in football circles. And they know it, this is the sole reason why they are fighting so hard against uncomfortable discoveries that are such a threat to their income and power structures.

These pedlars of supernatural fiction all know the game is up when the proof of survival after death eventually falls into the hands of ordinary decent people throughout the world who have nothing to lose from the truth and everything to gain. Only public opinion is powerful enough to sweep these obscurants aside. Keep the masses in ignorance is the name of the establishment game, the same as it's always been throughout history.

When people have the proof of anything, the very last thing they need is "faith" or a belief system.

The whole of the religious establishment throughout the world has linked up with their most deadly enemies - orthodox scientists who have started from the base that the mind and brain are the same - that death is the end of everything. This makes religion the only alternative. It keeps the professional priests in power, the masses grovelling before them and the money rolling into their coffers. They keep their monopoly on the vast and lucrative life after death industry.

As things stand at the moment my fellow atheists are part of this alliance.

Have a look at the secular scientific case for a separate mind and brain on our websites. This gives a rational explanation to explain why our ignorant ancestors invented all the dangerous and divisive religions in the first place. They thought they had witnessed something that was supernatural and they jumped to the wrong conclusions with disastrous consequences. We now know that nothing is above or beyond the laws of nature. If something happens then there must be a rational explanation to account for it. Nothing happened yesterday in the laws of physics that does not happen today.

Please join the survivalists in their fight against the great religious hoax on the human race. This way we can stop the born-again Christians in the White House from plunging us all into the Third World War.
