no wonder James Randi thinks the psychologist Dr. John Beloff is great. Beloff has held the position of Editor of the Journal of The Society for Psychical Research for nearly 20 years.

It would be difficult to find anybody who has fought harder than Dr. Beloff against those who support Sir William Crookes and Sir Oliver Lodge - linking survival after death with subatomic physics. This quote from his book "Parapsychology - A Concise History" (Athlone Press) 1993 ISBN 0 485 120968 gives the game away:

"Many parapsychologists believe (mistakenly in my view) that paranormal phenomena are all potentially explicable in terms of some principle of physics that has yet to be clarified - usually some of the more paradoxical implications of modern quantum theory are invoked to provide an answer."

Beloff is the perfect ally for James Randi and all the rest of the professional wreckers who are fighting with all their might to block the secular scientific case for survival from reaching the public. Beloff sat in front of me at an SPR meeting in London when I proved that an experiment had been carried out with a contemporary materialisation medium that completely vindicated the published results of international teams of scientists - Crookes, Richet, Notzing, Hamilton etc. I showed the SPR members a report proving that the "dead" Helen Duncan materialised and was physically reunited with her daughter. The daughter sat next to and spoke to her "dead" mother for an hour. Nearly all the people who took part in this experiment are still alive and ready to be interviewed. My paper reporting all this was officially censored by Professor Bernard Carr, now President of the SPR, and his committee. They also censored Ronald Pearson's paper that had already been peer-refereed and published by physicists in Russia and the USA. This gave the crushing mathematical back up to all the revolutionary experiments. Both these papers had been presented for the 1999 International Conference of the Society for Psychical Research. Sadly the delegates were only allowed to hear the thoughts of Beloff, Carr and Dr. Susan Blackmore who was on the committee that censored our papers that gave this proof of survival after death.
