In May 2002, the medium Colin Fry complained about a statement made on this site. In a letter, written on July 11, 2001, it was stated that Colin Fry had offered to work with Psychical Research Involving Selected Mediums (PRISM) and that PRISM did not take up his offer. Colin Fry's e-mail to us is reproduced below, with a statement from Michael Roll.

Dear Webmaster

please inform Mr Roll ,that if he is going to report things on his web site please report them accurately. re: article about supposed offer to PRISM - this is not correct . I did not make any offer to PRISM , the offer was made to Proffessor Fontana during a seance and not directly by myself . I still maintain I have no interest in working with any scientist ,only members of the public in search of the comfort of evidence of survival beyond physical death .

Professor David Fontana is a member of The Society for Psychical Research and a leading member of the PRISM organisation - Psychical Research Involving Selected Mediums.

This is the reply received from John Samson who is also a member of The Society for Psychical Research and lives in the same town as Colin Fry.

"I am mystified by Colin Fry's objection. He told me personally that he offered his services to PRISM and had received no response from them, which he took to mean that they were not interested. In fact he was very indignant that he hadn't received a reply from PRISM to his suggestion. I don't know what he means by saying that it wasn't he who offered his services, but somebody else attending a seance making an offer on his behalf."

This correspondence highlights why we are all going flat out to locate another fully developed materialisation medium as good as Rita Goold, where six recently deceased people were materialising and walking around the room every time Rita gave a demonstration.

This is a very serious scientific experiment and must be captured on film by top scientists who have started from the base that Crookes and Richet were not crackpots. Their revolutionary pioneering experiments must now be repeated using the modern recording equipment that we now have available to us.

This proof that we all survive the death of our physical bodies belongs to every person on Earth, not just a handful of people who happen to wander into the Spiritualist movement which is an officially recognised one-god religion.
