Letter from Rev'd Dr John Polkinghorne to Ronald Pearson
In his letter, John Polkinghorne writes:
"I have to say that the quantum theory of gravity is exceptionally difficult and I am very doubtful that it is possible for amateurs, however gifted and interested, to make contributions to it."
